North of Market Business Association for 4 years has been developing a membership organization engaged in promoting the small business interests of it's members. NOMBA performs activities that would be unduly costly or time-consuming for an individual small business to perform by itself, including advocacy work, information gathering, networking, providing access to elected officials, representing small business interests at decision-making policy meetings, producing social gatherings, research, and monitoring business practices.
